was the WV-CW960
colour dome camera
from Panasonic. The
dome features Super
Dynamic III
technology, and
brings together a
weatherproof
housing, a 360°
high-speed pan and
tilt base, and a 30x
optical zoom lens,
all adding extra
value to the camera
unit.
Features such as the
pixel-based 160x
dynamic range ensure
the WV-CW960
achieves high levels
of image realism,
and new intelligent
functions include
auto image
stabiliser, scene
change detection and
auto tracking. The
powerful pixel-based
dynamic range system
features both
1/8,000 second and
1/50 second shutter
speeds.
The camera boasts a
resolution of 540 TV
lines in colour and
570 TV lines in
monochrome mode. The
advanced performance
capabilities of
Panasonic's Super
Dynamic III
technology also
provide the WV-CW960
with enhanced image
processing, to
deliver natural
colour in its full
range. Also, with
the addition of the
new digital colour
circuitry in the DSP,
colour is processed
in fine detail,
enabling accurate
reproduction of pale
or dimly lit
